This competition is open for applications to fill two (02) positions as a tree pruning and planting worker in France, according to the official conditions and requirements specified in the following announcement:
1. Duties and Responsibilities of the Tree Pruning and Planting Worker
The tree pruning and planting worker is responsible for the following agricultural duties and tasks:
- Pruning, trimming, cutting, or treating trees according to agricultural, health, and aesthetic needs, and removing dead, diseased, or dangerous branches;
- Preparing the soil and planting new trees while ensuring monitoring and follow-up of their growth;
- Selecting plant varieties and species suited to the climate, soil, and surrounding environment;
- Identifying and diagnosing diseases, parasites, or any environmental stress affecting the health of trees;
- Using and operating motorized agricultural machinery and equipment (such as chainsaws, cranes, branch shredders, etc.);
- Ensuring full compliance with occupational safety measures and standards;
- Cooperating and coordinating with local communities, companies, or agricultural estates;
- Ensuring the safety of public or private areas and pathways during interventions and fieldwork.
2. Application Conditions
Candidates wishing to take part in the competition must meet the following conditions:
- Be registered with the National Agency for Employment Promotion and Skills (ANAPEC) as a job seeker;
- Required diploma: A vocational training certificate in agriculture (such as a specialization in plant and grain production, or a diploma in agricultural qualification in tree cultivation and care);
- Professional experience: At least one year (12 months) of experience in a similar agricultural position;
- Driving license: Category “B” driving license;
- Languages: Intermediate to acceptable level of French;
- Gender: Male.
3. Working Conditions and Benefits Offered
- Contract type: Fixed-term contract (CDD) for a duration of 6 months;
- Total monthly salary: €12.31 per hour (equivalent to approximately €1969.6 per month before tax deductions);
- Weekly working hours: 40 hours of work per week;
- Housing: Shared housing guaranteed and secured near the farm (with the worker contributing €110 per month from their salary to cover housing costs);
- Flight ticket: Fully covered and provided free of charge by the employer (Flight ticket: Yes).
