Fully Funded Volunteer Opportunity in Greece — Summer 2026 (ESC) with Daily Allowance

The European Youth Portal, under the European Solidarity Corps, has announced that applications are open for a short-term, fully funded volunteer project in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece, under the supervision of the Hellenic Association of Women Entrepreneurs (SEGE), for summer 2026.

The project is called “Volunteer4Entrepreneurship,” and it aims to attract an international volunteer team of 6 participants to contribute effectively to activities and campaigns that support women’s empowerment and female entrepreneurship in Greece, according to the following conditions:
1. Candidate Duties and Volunteer Activities in the Project
Accepted volunteers will carry out the following tasks:
- Direct engagement and communication with Greek women entrepreneurs, benefiting from their experiences and success stories;
- Supporting the launch of innovative awareness campaigns on social media platforms to promote the association’s activities and community impact;
- Contributing to the production of podcasts, short videos, and interactive digital interviews;
- Creating diverse digital content to publish the success stories of women entrepreneurs as a tool for empowerment, inclusion, and social development.
2. Funding and Benefits Granted to Volunteers
The project is fully funded by the European Union and covers the following benefits:
- Accommodation and Housing: The host organization fully covers housing costs and provides accommodation in furnished shared apartments or rooms;
- Food: Volunteers are provided with a special food allowance, which they receive before arrival;
- Local Transportation: Local transportation costs are covered by providing free tickets and transit cards;
- International Travel: The volunteer purchases their own round-trip flight ticket, and its cost is fully reimbursed upon arrival, according to the travel cap approved by the program;
- Daily Pocket Money: The volunteer receives a personal daily allowance estimated at 7 EUR/day.
3. Required Conditions and Volunteer Specifications
The opportunity is open to young men and women who meet the following specifications:
- Passionate about and interested in entrepreneurship, women’s empowerment, content creation, media, and community engagement;
- Able to work within a multinational team and communicate with stakeholders and associations;
- Willing to learn, take responsibility, and innovate;
- Professional Experience: No prior experience in the field is required.
