This scholarship is intended for a summer university course in Germany lasting 3 to 4 weeks. The application deadline is October 30, 2026.

IAESTE Practical Traineeships
This program offers practical internships for foreign students in natural and technical sciences, agriculture, and forestry, aiming to improve participants’ professional and practical skills as well as their intercultural competencies. EPOS Postgraduate Program

Helmut-Schmidt Programme for Public Policy and Good Governance
The Helmut-Schmidt Programme supports future leaders from developing countries, offering them the opportunity to earn a Master’s degree in fields particularly relevant to the social, political, and economic development of their home countries. The application period runs from June 1 to July 31, 2026.

Master’s and Postgraduate Study Scholarships in Architecture
This program allows candidates to pursue advanced or specialized studies in architecture in Germany. Applicants must hold a first university degree in one of the following fields at the time the scholarship begins: architecture, interior architecture, heritage conservation and building renovation (including historic buildings), urban planning/urban design, landscape architecture, or landscape design. Research Grant
This program is intended for doctoral candidates, allowing them to conduct research projects in Germany for a flexible period of two to twelve months. The application deadline is August 31, 2026.

Doctoral Studies in Germany
This program offers the opportunity to complete a doctorate in Germany. The doctoral scholarship is awarded for an initial period of three years, with the possibility of extension for a fourth year. A progress report and a certificate from the thesis supervisor must be submitted each year. The application deadline is August 31, 2026.

Bi-nationally Supervised Doctoral Degrees (Cotutelle)
This program requires a supervision confirmation signed jointly by both thesis supervisors, referencing the project approved by both, and guaranteeing both supervision and the provision of a workspace by the host institution. Scholarships may be granted for a maximum duration of 24 months, with a progress report and supervisor’s certificate required after the first year. The application deadline is August 31, 2026.

This program gives university professors in the following disciplines (Architecture, Fine Arts, Cinema, Theater, Music, etc.) the opportunity to undertake a work stay at public or state-recognized universities in Germany, in view of an artistic collaboration with a host institution. You may apply if you are a former DAAD scholarship holder who received funding for a period exceeding six months from the German Federal Foreign Office budget.
