Funded Scholarship in Tunisia 2026-2027: 100 Seats for Moroccan Students and How to Apply

As part of the Morocco-Tunisia Student Exchange Program for the 2026-2027 academic year, the Republic of Tunisia is offering 100 educational seats with a monthly financial scholarship of 120 Tunisian dinars for Moroccan students wishing to pursue higher education at various Tunisian higher education institutions and universities.

Important note regarding General Medicine studies in Tunisia: General Medicine studies in Tunisia last nine (9) full, consecutive academic years — seven (7) years in general medicine plus two (2) additional mandatory years specializing in family medicine.

1. Eligibility and Admission Requirements

Candidates wishing to benefit from these seats and scholarships must meet the following conditions:

  • Must hold Moroccan nationality
  • Must hold a baccalaureate diploma from the 2025 or 2026 session
  • Overall average must not be lower than 12/20 as the eligibility threshold for all open fields
  • Calculation method for the Moroccan baccalaureate: the average is calculated as 25% regional exam average + 75% national exam average
  • For foreign baccalaureates: the overall baccalaureate average must be equal to or greater than 12/20
  • No grade in any core scientific subject on the national unified baccalaureate exam may be lower than 10/20
  • Candidates must hold the baccalaureate track/stream corresponding to and required for their chosen field, according to the detailed table attached to the announcement (Image 2)

2. Application File and Submission Process

Applications for the Tunisian university scholarship program must be submitted exclusively online via the official portal for scholarships abroad of the Ministry of Higher Education, at: https://mabourse.enssup.gov.ma

Candidates must complete the online application form and attach scanned copies of the following mandatory documents:

  • Baccalaureate diploma obtained
  • Baccalaureate transcripts/grade records
  • A valid passport with more than 6 months’ validity remaining at the time of application

Note: Any missing document among these three will automatically and systematically result in the cancellation and exclusion of the application file from the platform.

3. Selection Process and Seat Confirmation

  • Candidates are ranked based on merit and their calculated baccalaureate average, into a main list and a waiting list
  • Results announcement date: August 18, 2026
  • Post-acceptance procedures and scholarship confirmation:
  • Candidates accepted on the main list must confirm their acceptance by attaching a copy of their flight ticket on the platform before August 23, 2026. Any unconfirmed seat will automatically be reassigned to the next candidates on the waiting list.
  • Candidates accepted on the waiting list must confirm their intent via a confirmation email (no flight ticket required) before August 23, 2026.
  • Administrative note: The costs and responsibility for international travel and internal transportation within the Republic of Tunisia are borne entirely and personally by the student.

4. Official Academic Year Start Dates in Tunisia

  • August 31, 2026: Start of studies for General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Engineering/Technology fields
  • September 14, 2026: Start of studies for Architecture and Business Management/Administration (ISCAE)
