Description
The aim of this project is to raise awareness among the population about global social, economic and environmental challenges and to contribute to the promotion and adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established under the UN 2030 Agenda. The project encourages volunteering, active participation and cooperation among all. We aim to inspire people to help others, make a positive difference in the lives of people and for the planet, and demonstrate to young people that volunteering and solidarity are fundamental values that should be part of their daily lives.
Through the activities developed, the community will be able to better understand and take action to address the challenges identified by the SDGs. Participants will be encouraged to get involved in these causes and contribute to reducing the lack of constructive responses to global sustainable development challenges. The project is expected to encourage young people to become more engaged in these and other issues, becoming active agents of change and developing new projects at local, national or even international level.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You will be accommodated at SYnergia Residence in shared rooms, fully equipped with bed sheets, towels, Wi-Fi and a kitchen. Food and pocket money will be provided by the hosting organisation. Activities will take place at CADI, the Inclusive Center of Arts and Sports and headquarters of SYnergia. Other activities will be organised with SYnergia’s partner organisations, and local transportation will be provided to volunteers.
Training during the activity
As part of the project, you will receive pre-departure training organised by the support organisation. This training will provide information about the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), the project in which you will participate, and online training opportunities available through the ESC Portal. You will also have the opportunity to share your expectations, receive more technical information and learn about the importance of Youthpass.
You will also receive appropriate language-learning support, participate in non-formal education training sessions, peer learning and intercultural learning activities. During the project, you will also take part in additional training sessions organised by the National Agency for Erasmus+.
Participant profile
If you would like to make a difference in the lives of other young people and are interested in learning more about different cultures, this opportunity is for you. We are looking for young people between the ages of 18 and 30 who are willing to share their knowledge and experiences with young people with fewer opportunities and help them develop a better perspective of their future on different levels.
