What is the FLEX Global program?
The FLEX Global program gives high school students the opportunity to spend an academic year in the United States. During the program, students live with host families, attend U.S. high schools, and take part in community activities that help them build leadership skills and learn about different cultures.
The program also includes activities focused on business, technology, and entrepreneurship. After completing the exchange, participants return to their home countries to use what they have learned and share their experience with their communities.
The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, with AMIDEAST supporting its implementation. AMIDEAST also hosts participants in Morocco and helps recruit and screen applicants in Morocco, Jordan, Bahrain, and Tunisia. Source: AMIDEAST’s FLEX Global program page
