Are you a student in Morocco dreaming of earning a double degree in France? The French Embassy in Morocco has launched the call for applications for the 2026 Double-Degree Scholarships. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your academic and professional profile. Here is everything you need to know about eligibility, selection criteria, and the application process.

Program Overview
The double-degree scholarship program is designed for Moroccan students enrolled in Master’s or Engineering programs. This scholarship supports academic mobility to France within the framework of recognized partnership agreements.
Key Details:
- Duration: 10 months (September 2026 to June 2027).
- Objective: To obtain a double degree (both Moroccan and French) upon completion of the program.
- Important Note: The scholarship does not cover potential internship periods.
Who is Eligible?
This program is exclusively for Moroccan nationals enrolled in the following institutions:
- Engineering schools participating in the CNC (Concours National Commun).
- Moroccan public universities.
- Institutions resulting from public-private partnerships (e.g., UIR, UM6P, UEMF, etc.).
Essential Requirement: Your Moroccan institution must have a formal double-degree agreement with a French higher education institution, confirming that the mobility period in France is an integral part of your curriculum.
Selection Criteria
Each Moroccan institution selects a maximum of 3 candidates (based on the principle: one agreement = one application). The selection committee evaluates files based on:
- Academic Excellence: Evaluation of results from the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree and the 1st semester of a Master’s, or the first three semesters of an Engineering cycle.
- Field of Study: Alignment with the needs of the Moroccan job market and the major priorities of bilateral cooperation.
- Degree Validity: Analysis of the cooperation agreement to ensure it clearly covers the issuance of both French and Moroccan Master’s or Engineering degrees.
- Career Prospects: Special attention is given to students planning to pursue an apprenticeship contract (alternance) in France following this first year of mobility.
