Eligibility Requirements and Application
The program is open to students of all nationalities who demonstrate an outstanding academic record.
Basic Requirements:
- The applicant must be among the top students in their Bachelor’s program.
- Hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree from a prestigious university or be on the verge of graduation.
- Must meet the admission criteria specific to the chosen Master’s program.
- Students who have already started a Master’s program at the Faculty of Science at the University of Geneva cannot apply for this fellowship.
Required Documents: The application must be submitted online in English or French and should include a single PDF file containing the following documents:
- Scanned copy of national identity card or passport.
- Curriculum vitae (maximum two pages).
- Bachelor’s degree transcript showing all grades obtained.
- Motivation letter explaining your scientific interests and motivations for pursuing the Master’s program at the University of Geneva.
- Two recommendation letters from university professors testifying to your competence for the program.
- Any additional relevant information such as GRE or TOEFL test results or other language test scores.
Application Process
- University Registration: Each student must first complete the registration procedures for their chosen Master’s program as outlined on the university’s admissions office website.
- Scholarship Application: The scholarship application is submitted online. After registration, applicants will receive an email containing a personal link to complete the application form.
- Deadline: The next application deadline is February 28, 2026 (to begin Master’s studies on September 14, 2026).
