Registration for Voluntary Work in France 2026

The “Peupl’en Harmonie” association has announced the opening of applications to participate in a volunteer project aimed at supporting intercultural cohesion and local development in French Guiana.

The project runs from November 11, 2025, to December 11, 2025, and provides a unique opportunity for young people from various parts of the world to engage in a rich cultural and humanitarian experience.

Details of Voluntary Work in France

This volunteer project seeks to promote cultural exchange and youth mobility in French Guiana. Volunteers will work in the heart of Cayenne city, specifically at “18 lotissement Patawa, Impasse les citrines”.

The main tasks for volunteers include supporting the organization and coordination of various events and activities such as “Visages de Yana” and “Alternayano”, in addition to promoting these activities through social media by creating creative content including video clips and photo stories.

Volunteers will also contribute to designing and developing various communication tools such as posters, souvenirs, e-books, and documenting participant testimonials. This program provides participants with the opportunity to develop their skills in event organization, cultural animation, digital communication, and teamwork within a diverse international environment.

Profile of Ideal Participants

The association is seeking young people aged between 18 and 30 years old who have a passion for cultural exchange and solidarity work. Applicants must be interested in living in an overseas territory with all its specificities, such as distance from Europe, tropical climate, and cultural differences.

It is important that participants be prepared for full participation in the project and to acquire new skills and competencies. The willingness to speak English or French is considered an additional advantage. The association confirms its ability to accommodate different dietary systems for participants, whether religious or vegetarian.
