Duties and Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be required to perform the following tasks:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedure specifications.
  • Carry out welding operations on industrial pipes.
  • Perform TIG/WIG and MAG welding on steel and stainless steel (Inox).
  • Execute precision welding subject to radiographic inspection.
  • Prepare, assemble, and adjust metal parts prior to welding.
  • Perform cutting operations using a torch.
  • Strictly adhere to applicable industrial quality and safety standards.
  • Repair and reinforce worn metal parts by adding appropriate materials.

Requirements and Candidate Profile

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Registration: Must be registered with ANAPEC as a job seeker.
  • Education: Technical or specialized technical diploma in welding or metal construction.
  • Work Experience: Proven experience of at least 12 months in TIG/MAG welding on industrial pipes, with prior experience in radiographically inspected welding.
  • Language Skills: Minimum A2 level in German (certificate required).
  • Additional Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; precision and teamwork.

Working Conditions and Benefits

  • Salary: €19 gross per hour.
  • Accommodation: Free housing provided for the first six months.
  • Flights: Covered and arranged by the employer.
  • Transportation: Travel expenses reimbursed, plus a daily allowance for assignments outside the Kassel region.
